Security Surveillance; 465 cameras to be installed in Gwadar

Chief Secretary Balochistan says security of investors & their property at Gwadar Port is government’s responsibility

QUETTA: Chief Secretary Balochistan Saifullah Chatta has said that the security of investors and their property at Gwadar Port is the government’s responsibility as it would insure strengthening of the country’s economy. Speaking during a session held on Gwadar security, he said that the government is taking steps on a war-footing to improve the security landscape in the region. Briefing participants, the DG IT Khalid Sherdil said that the cameras are equipped with FID, Automatic Number Plate Reader and Laser Cameras at a cost of 10 billion rupees, of which 3 billion rupees have already been approved.
