Heinous act: Teen set on fire over petty issue

ISLAMABAD: A youngster was set alight over a minor issue in the Bhara Kahu area of the capital on Monday. Kamran Haider lodged a complaint with the local police stating that Wajid Shah and his accomplices doused his son Ali Haider with petrol and set him on fire. The incident took place over a minor dispute, the statement read. The boy suffered burn injuries and was treated at the Federal Government Services Hospital (Polyclinic), the father said. The police have registered a case in the matter and are said to have started an investigation in the case.
