
As per Shoaib’s initial diagnostic X-ray reports, his upper leg bone (the femur) was grinding one of his lower leg bones (the tibia).

According to Shoaib’s doctors, bowling with his knees at such high-octane pace for nearly a decade was mind-boggling, but the right-armer did it and that too with sheer resolute.

Shoaib got his surgery done on January 23 in Melbourne, Australia and it was fixed by Dr David Young whom Shoaib considers an artist more than a medical practitioner.
