Target: OGDCL plans to dig 31 new oil wells

Currently, 17 wells are under the drilling process

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) is confident it will achieve its target of drilling 31 new wells for the current financial year. “Under the target, the company has to dig 31 wells in all provinces and it will hopefully be achieved by the end of June this year,” official sources in the company said. Currently, they said, 17 wells were under the drilling process, adding that nine new wells had been spud and five were in the testing phase.
