Bogus cheque: Man booked for fraud

Police have registered a case under section 489-F (dishonestly issuing a cheque) of PPC

ISLAMABAD: Police have booked a man for allegedly issuing a bogus cheque in a property deal. Raja Mehboob Khan told the police that Khawaja Bashir gave him a bank cheque for Rs2.5 million but it bounced back since there was not enough balance in the issuer’s account. Police have registered a case under section 489-F (dishonestly issuing a cheque) of PPC.
