Daily-wage teachers: ‘Committee to peruse cases’

The fate and future of these employees will be decided in the light of the recommendations of the committee

Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Thursday informed the National Assembly that the fate of daily wage teachers of various education institutions of Islamabad will be decided by a committee constituted on the directives of the Islamabad High Court.


In a written reply to a question raised by MNA Nighat Mirza, the minister told the lower house that the committee had been formed on the court directives to peruse cases of daily-wage teachers, who were around 1,364.

“The fate and future of these employees will be decided in the light of the recommendations of the committee” he said.
