Barrister Zafarullah Khan filed the petition
LAHORE:
Pakistan should have unfiltered access to YouTube, a petition moved before the Supreme Court’s Lahore registry on Thursday says. The petitioner requested the court to direct the government to make public details of the contract signed between the government and YouTube. Barrister Zafarullah Khan filed the petition. He said right to information was a right enshrined in the Constitution of Pakistan. He said providing a local version of YouTube deprived people of information accessible in other countries.
