Time to pay: Damages sought over faulty wall clock

LAHORE: A consumer court on Wednesday issued a notice to a proprietor in a suit seeking Rs300,000 in damages for the sale of defective wall clock. Muhammad Said told the court that he had purchased a clock from Imtiaz from his shop in Shahdra. He said the clock broke down a few days later. He said when he took the clock to the shopkeeper, he refused to fix it or replace it.

He asked the court to direct the respondent to pay the damages.
