
The Additional District and Sessions Judge Rawalpindi Raja Khurram Ali Khan on Wednesday issued notices to ASI Tahir Rehan and five constables to appear in the court on January 26, following the petition filed by a woman for torturing and looting her.
Rehan along with five team members had raided house of Javed
Tanoli to arrest him in a case but after finding him missing, they allegedly tortured his wife and children and looted cash, jewellery, a car and documents of a plot.
Naureen, wife of Javed, approached the court through her counsel
Qazi Hafizur Rehman Advocate and appealed for justice.
The court after hearing the counsel’s arguments issued notices to the suspected cops and asked them to appear in the court with relevant details.
Rehman also requested the court to give directives for their challan.
