Pakistani singer Zebunissa Bangash, who is no stranger to Bollywood, has lent her vocals for yet another film!

The talented singer has crooned two songs for the upcoming Katrina Kaif-Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Fitoor.

The first song titled Haminastu is a romantic Persian-Hindi number and has a surreal Kashmiri feel to it, pairing perfectly with the Abhishek Kapoor directorial which has been shot in Kashmir.

The word Haminastu means "heaven on earth" and Zeb's magical voice justifies the scenic beauty of the land.

The song has been penned by Swanand Kirkire, who has films such as ShamitabhPK and Bobby Jasoos to his credit, and the music has been composed by Amit Trivdei.

The lyrical masterpiece begins with famous Farsi (Persian) couplet by historical poet Hazrat Amir Khusro: "Gar Firdous Ba-Roohe Zameen Ast. Haminastu, Haminastu". (If there is a heaven on earth, it is here, it is here).

‘Fitoor’ different from Dickens’ novel: Katrina

Interestingly, Firdous is also the name of the lead character in the movie which is played by Katrina.

Zeb's second offering, Hone De Batiyaan, is a duet with Nandini Srikar, who previously ruled hearts with her song Dua from Shanghai, among many others.

With a bit of Kashmiri essence, the duo leaves you mesmerised with their soulful voices in this relatively hip track.

Zeb has previously sung for Bollywood films Madras Cafe and Highway. She has also worked her magic with Persian tunes, including hit Bibi Sanam Janem.

Did you know? Imran Abbas was offered a role in Katrina-Aditya's Fitoor

Fitoor, also starring ace actor Tabu, is slated to release February 12.
