Municipal bodies: Polling for reserved seats on February 8
Municipal committees will elect members on reserved seats on Feb 11 while UCs on 14th.

Polling for reserved seats of Rawalpindi and Murree municipal corporations as well as the Rawalpindi district council will be held on February 8.
Members of five municipal committees in the district — Gujar Khan, Taxila, Kallar Syedan, Kahuta and Kotli Sattian — will elect their colleagues on reserved seats on February 11 while polling for reserved seats of union councils (UCs) will be held on February 14.
Rawalpindi municipal corporation will have 17 reserved seats — 10 for women, two each for technocrat, workers and non-Muslims, and one seat for a youth member.
District council will have 15 seats reserved for women, six each for technocrats and farmers, five for non-Muslims and one seat for a youth member.
Murree municipal corporation will have eight reserved seats — five for women and one each for a technocrat, youth and n non-Muslim members.
Similarly, all five municipal committees will have reserved seats for women, non-Muslims, youth and workers.
All UC chairmen will cast votes to elect the members on reserved seats.
Each union council will have five reserved seats — three women and one each for youth, workers, and non-Muslims.
At union council level, general councillors and vice-chairmen will also cast votes to elect members on reserved seats, apart from the UC chairmen.
Rawalpindi and Murree will have a mayor and two deputy mayors each, while the district council, which will consist of all rural UCs, will have a chairman and three vice-chairmen. Municipal committees will have a chairmam and a vice-chairmen each.
Returning officers will receive the nomination papers for reserved seats on January 20 and 21, will vet them on 22nd and 23rd while appeals against rejection or acceptance of nomination papers will be disposed of till 27th.
On 28th, the returning officers will allot election symbols and issue a final list of candidates.
