Held on tip-off: Momin Town attack culprit arrested

There was a bounty of Rs0.5 million on his arrest

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa counter-terrorism department (CTD) arrested a militant, Khalil Khan, a resident of Bara in Khyber Agency, on Monday.

There was a bounty of Rs0.5 million on his arrest.

Police said Khalil was involved in the attack in Momin Town area of Paharipura, which killed three people and injured four in 2009.

The militant was held on a tip-off within the jurisdiction of Paharipura police station. He was later shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
