Pakistani companies have received an overwhelming response in the first ever single-country exhibition in Sri Lanka as most exhibitors sold off all their stock on the first day, according to the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
During the Business-to- Business (B2B) meetings, many Sri Lankan importers made spot orders.
Most confirmed deals pertain to the auto, pharmaceuticals, agro-business, textile, furniture and marble sectors.
On the first day of the exhibition, more than 50 B2B meetings were organised whereas Sri Lankan companies also held meetings at exhibition stalls followed by detailed meeting sessions at the hotels. The single-country expo in Colombo has brought together 125 Pakistani firms displaying their potential products.
