KARACHI:

Pakistan A, led by Test player Junaid Khan, left for the UAE on Saturday, where they will play a five-match one-day series against England Lions.

The two teams recently clashed in a five-match T20 series that was won by Lions 3-2 after a super over in the decider.

Initially, Umar Amin was named the skipper, but he suffered a groin injury during the ongoing National One-Day Cup and was unable to travel with the team. Subsequently, Junaid was given the responsibility.

Series lost as Pakistan A beaten by four runs

Other team members include Fawad Alam, Ehsan Adil, Bilal Asif, Fakhar Zaman, Sami Aslam, Zain Abbas, Asif Zakir, Abid Ali, Umar Siddique, Mohammad Hasan, Mohammad Nawaz, Zohaib Khan and Fahim Ashraf.
