LAHORE: Scores of lawyers observed a Thanksgiving Day on Friday on the occasion of conviction of a police inspector for the killing of a Daska Bar Association president and a member in a shooting incident in 2015. The Punjab Bar Council had given a call for a partial strike in this regard. An anti terrorism court in Sialkot has convicted Inspector Shahzad Warraich of shooting and killing Advocates Rana Khalid Abbas (bar association president) and Irfan Chohan on May 25, 2015. The inspector had been awarded a death sentence on four counts.
