In order to increase bilateral trade and tourism between Pakistan and the United States, the commercial service department at the US consulate in Karachi has invited Pakistan to participate in a trade show being held between May 21 and May 25 at the Moscone convention centre in San Francisco.

This was stated by Sohrab Jang and Mohammad Aamir, commercial specialists at the US consulate, during a briefing held at the Travel Agents Association of Pakistan (TAAP) office in Karachi on Tuesday.

About seventy countries will participate in the ‘International Pow Wow’ trade show. The purpose behind inviting a delegation of Pakistani travel agents is to promote tourism between the two countries and ensure business-to-business discussions between delegates of other participating countries, said Sohrab.
