Nearly 70 per cent of work on the Metro Bus project in Multan is complete, Federal Minster for National Food Security Sikandar Hayat Bosan said while speaking to journalists on Tuesday. “This is a historic project and will greatly benefit the people of south Punjab,” he said.
Bosan said phase two of the Metro Bus project will be initiated according to the wishes of the people of south Punjab. In the second phase, commuters from Muzaffargarh, Shujabad, Jalalpur and Bahawalpur will be facilitated in traveling towards Multan. He said that the government had provided the largest-ever subsidy package for farmers in Pakistan.
“We are committed to serving and facilitating the masses.”
