Target Balochistan: BISP to conduct fresh survey, says Marvi

. The programme offers Rs1,500 monthly grant to the poorest of the poor

QUETTA: As many as 237,000 women are getting financial grants under the Benazir Income Support Programme in Balochistan, participants of a seminar were informed in Quetta on Saturday. BISP chief Marvi Memon told the seminar that a new survey will be held in the province to further increase the number of  beneficiaries. Balochistan CM Sanaullah Zehri, speaking at the seminar, said social security programmes like BISP brought economic stability in the country. He said deserving women who were still deprived of BISP benefits would soon get their cards. The programme offers Rs1,500 monthly grant to the poorest of the poor.
