Zubair Ahmad was drinking tea with his friend Khair Ahmad on top of an under construction house when their relative Ayaz and his son Haris opened fire on them. Zubair died on the spot while Khair was injured and rushed to Mardan Medical Complex.
The deceased’s maternal uncle, Seyar Muhammad, was unable to bear the loss of his nephew and died in the hospital of a heart attack. The reasons behind the murder are still not known. Swabi police registered an FIR and started further investigation.
