Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 19

To you, as a forthright Aries, the word ‘no’ means exactly that. Having told others you’ve no intention of taking things further, you’ll move on and will expect them to as well. Yet now, one particular individual is continuing with these ideas. Actually, listen to their ideas. They’re worth pursuing.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

With so much going on around you, it’s unlikely you’ve felt the need to slow your pace, as typically comes with every New Moon. But there’s still time to do exactly that. It needn’t be complex. Take an hour or so to review what’s working, what isn’t and what you can do without.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

There are few more unsettling feelings than watching familiar alliances become unimportant to others or, perhaps, it’s you who realises these must reach an end. Difficult as the circumstances in question seem now, this could be no more than an in-depth review, one that’s vital if this relationship is to survive.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

The line between others simply complaining about troublesome situations, and serious problems isn’t always clear. In the past, you’ve disrupted your schedule to give certain individuals a hand, only to discover they were just moaning. Recalling that, ask those who say they’re struggling if they really are. They may be fine.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

As a fire sign, you can and often do dominate situations. Yet, intriguingly, once you’ve made your point, you’ve no need to have the last word even in heated exchanges. Still, at the moment it might be wise, or others will make the mistaken assumption you don’t care, when you do. Very much.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

Nobody remembers the facts the way a Virgo does. Thus, when others are mistaken, you’ll try to put them on the right track. During this exceptionally unsettled period, what’s true one day may not be the next. Raise concerns, as a question, and everybody will learn from the resulting discussion.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

The process of organising a plan or making decisions is so demanding that you really only want to do it once. Recognise, however, that with so much in transition and Mercury retrograde even simple arrangements won’t last long, and you’ll regard what you’re setting up as a trial run, more than a final version.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

With so much in transition, you’ve already had to rethink both longstanding arrangements and new plans several times. So, despite the reputation of the New Moon for bringing a fresh perspective, it’s difficult to imagine what other alternatives could arise. Still, judging by the swift pace, it’s very likely they will.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

Sometimes setbacks are no more than that, difficulties that need to be overcome. Those you’re currently facing are encouraging you to question certain longstanding, and once profitable, arrangements. Times have changed but these haven’t and now they’re costing you, in financial, practical or emotional terms. A serious rethink is vital.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

Out of character as it may be, you’re urged to leave as much as possible to chance. This gives you an opportunity to view existing arrangements with a fresh perspective. But even more, it ensures you welcome the insights triggered by the Capricorn New Moon with an open mind.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

Usually, a well thought out plan will survive any number of unexpected twists and turns. But now, you’re wondering if certain ventures are worth the effort. They will be, although you might need to adopt a different strategy, and time things differently. Viewing matters from another perspective will change everything.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Don’t be surprised if those who only recently dismissed your suggestion that changes were coming now want to talk about exactly that. This is a reminder that others aren’t as intuitive as you are, and never will be. Still, they’ll benefit from your insights, even if they’re unrecognised at the time.
