The activists of Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) held a protest against the arrival of Saudi foreign minister. Hundreds of MWM activists gathered at China Chowk and marched towards D-Chowk against the visit of Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Bin Ahmed al-Jubeir. Protesters carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans criticising executing of a prominent Shia cleric, Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr. The protesters demanded the government to play a neutral role in this regard. Islamabad police has made extra security arrangements following the arrival of. Jubeir is on two-day official visit in the country.
