Public Safety: Bomb found under bridge defused

LAHORE: A 10-kilogramme bomb found left under a pedestrian bridge near Hanjarwal on Monday was defused by the bomb disposal squad. The Nawab Town SHO said a patrolling team had spotted the bomb and called the bomb disposal squad and senior police officers to the scene. He said the squad had defused the bomb and collected forensic evidence from the scene. A search operation was later carried out in surrounding areas.
