NOWSHERA: At least three employees of the agriculture department were dismissed on charges of providing fake documents in Nowshera. They were removed from service by the director general of the department, Qiyas Bahadur Shah. The department received complaints about the appointment of three employees on fake CNICs and domicile documents. As a result, Nowshera DC Iftikhar Alam investigated the matter and requested the DG to dismiss them. The latter ordered the cancellation of the employment of Naveed Ahmed, Muhammad Bilal and Ramdad Khan. Insiders familiar with the matter told The Express Tribune that despite prolonged absenteeism, the three employees were receiving full salaries. The Nowshera anti-corruption department started an investigation to identify more such cases.
