Time to graduate: KU starts collecting convocation forms

The registrar says that students cam also apply for the laptop scheme

KARACHI:

University of Karachi (KU) students can submit the annual convocation registration forms till January 11, while the laptop scheme applications can be submitted till January 6, announced KU registrar Professor Dr Moazzam Ali Khan.

Khan announced that regular students under semester system of the university may submit their forms with the required documents and degree forms at convocation camp office between 10am and 1pm. Friday office timings end at 12pm.

On the other hand, the students can submit applications for the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme till January 6. KU's registrar notified that students, who applied for PM Laptop Scheme and have received an email from Higher Education Commission for verification, are instructed to submit their applications at KU student's adviser office.

Applications can be submitted till the last date for verification, otherwise the students will not get the laptops.
