Crime and terrorism in K-P: Let the numbers do the talking

The year 2015 was a mixed bag in terms of security and crime for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Although the number of terrorist attacks saw a decline, durable peace remained a distant dream for the province.

Here is K-P’s crime and terror story in numbers. The data, copies of which are available with The Express Tribune, is collated from police records and NAP.

    Every indicator shows improvement compared to previous year. If the improvement continues 2 – 3 yrs down the road will present a very good picture. Interesting to see similar comparison of Punjab and Sindh. Most indicators of these 2 provinces have worsened, which tells you the story.Recommend
