"Murree is a beautiful place and several developmental projects have been put in place for its restoration," the premier said at the inauguration.
"All development projects will be prioritised," he said, adding that, "Whatever amount of money is required for the progress of Murree, I will provide."
He announced the construction of a hospital and university equipped with modern machinery and facilities, assuring that all efforts would be put in place to build important infrastructure, to enable people to obtain services locally rather than travelling to Rawalpindi or neighbouring cities.

Further, PM Nawaz said he himself would supervise the development projects in Murree and reiterated that he would also ensure the provision of required funds.
The GPO Murree was constructed in 1910 and has been restored to its original structure after several years.
