LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has been requested to restrain Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) from including fast bowler Muhammad Amir, convicted of spot-fixing, in the Pakistan squad for the upcoming cricket series in New Zealand. Petitioner Advocate Malik Munsif Awan of the Pakistan Justice Party submitted that Amir had tarnished the country’s image through spot-fixing. He said that allowing a convict to represent the country would be inappropriate. He requested the court to restrain the PCB from including the pacer in the national team and the training camps.
