Residence act: Eight property owners arrested

Owners are required to register their tenants with the local police station under the law

RAWALPINDI: Police have arrested eight house owners and tenants for not providing tenants data to the police. Race Course police conducted arrested Farakh and Nawaz while Civil Lines police held Sikander, Tahiri, Asif, Sadiq and Nauman. Gujar Khan police arrested Hazrat Nabi. Owners are required to register their tenants with the local police station under the law.
