Sindh police have been ordered to make strict security arrangements on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas

Nation marks Christmas and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s 139th birth anniversary on Friday with fervour and zeal.

A change of guard ceremony will be held at the mausoleum of the father of the nation. The cadets of Pakistan Military Academy Kakul will assume the guard’s duty at the Mazar.

Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad along with Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and members of the provincial cabinet will visit the mausoleum to place wreaths and offer Fateha.


Meanwhile, the Christian community across the country would celebrate Christmas with enthusiasm. Festivities commenced on midnight with services in all the churches in the country. The Christmas carols will precede the prayers service for peace and solidarity.

Strict security for Quaid-e-Azam day

Sindh police have been ordered to make strict security arrangements on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas. IGP Ghulam Haider Jamali has directed the officials to enforce strict security arrangements around churches and missionary schools, said a press release that was issued on Thursday.

Jamali further said that besides important government authorities, a large number of public will also visit the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam and issued directions to take strict security measures around the mausoleum.
