Sunny Leone says 2016 will be year of adult comedies in Bollywood

The actress was present at a press conference to promote her upcoming film 'Mastizaade'

Porn star-turned-actress Sunny Leone has given her film prediction for the upcoming year and it's no surprise that her money's on adult films.

With films like Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, Mastizaade and Great Grand Masti lined up for release in 2015, Sunny believes that adult comedy will dominate the box office.



The Bollywood actress, along with her Mastizaade co-star Vir Das, were promoting their forthcoming film on Tuesday when she was asked how Mastizaade is different from other films of the same genre also lined up for release in 2015, to which she responded: "I think 2016 is going to be the year of adult comedies. We have three films releasing back-to-back and I think these movies are going to set a standard for comedy."

In Mastizaade, Sunny will be seen in a double role as Laila and Lily. She shared that playing the role of Laila was significantly tougher than her other character.



"Being Laila (was tougher). That's how everybody has seen me -- the glamorous and bombshell type. But playing Lily was easy for me as Lily is closer to my actual personality, which is quirky and clumsy," she said.

Directed by Milap Zaveri, Mastizaade also stars Tusshar Kapoor in a lead role. The film is slated to release January 29 next year.
