ISLAMABAD:

JUI’s provincial head Maulana Mohammad Khan Sherani has demanded that his party should also be accommodated in the provincial cabinet once the new chief minister takes office in Quetta.

The current Chief Minister Muhammad Malik will be replaced with Sanaullah Zehri, President of PML-N Balochistan chapter.

JUI in total have eight members in Balochistan’s provincial assembly. PML-N is a majority party in the provincial assembly but had, under an agreement, allowed two and half years to the coalition partner National Party to lead the government in the province.

Senator Talha Mehmood another JUI Senator said that since JUI was now a partner of PML-N at the federal level and was also supporting the treasury benches in Balochistan, it had the right to demand its share in the provincial government.
