Passenger van attack: One killed, five injured in Loralai

Van was on its way from Quetta to Loralai and was fired upon at Nana Sahib of Tehsil Duki

One man was killed and five others sustained injuries in a firing incident in the Duki area of Loralai district on Tuesday.

According to the Balochistan Levies sources, a passenger van on its way from Quetta to Loralai was fired upon at Nana Sahib of Tehsil Duki by unidentified gunmen wounding six persons, including a woman. The attackers managed to escape while local administration and Balochistan Levies rushed to the spot soon after the incident.

The injured were shifted to the hospital but one passenger succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital. The deceased was identified as Sanaullah and injured as Abdul Nawaz, Musa Jan, Abdul Hakim, Abdul Khan and a woman. “Two of the injured are in critical condition,” hospital sources said.
