Health boon: Hospital inaugurated in Lower Dir

Education and health are the primary needs of the locals and we are catering to it, commander says

Dir Task Force Commandant Colonel Khalid Mehmood Shafi has pressed for the involvement of locals to ensure peace is restored in the district. He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Medrect International Hospital on Tuesday. “In order to maintain a peaceful environment, locals must keep collaborating with the security forces,” Shafi said. Lower Dir district nazim Haji Muhammad Rasool Khan, Anjuman, Tajiran Timergara President Haji Anwaruddin, doctors and a large number of locals attended the ceremony. The commandant said, “Serving humanity is a great form of religious offering. Education and health are the primary needs of the locals and we are catering to it.” Speaking on the occasion, Dr Nabiur Rehman, the hospital’s director, gave detailed briefing about the medical facility.
