Commander US Forces in Afghanistan General John F Campbell calls on the COAS at GHQ
Army chief General Raheel Sharif discussed on Monday regional security, as well as the Afghan reconciliation process with Commander US Forces in Afghanistan and Resolute Support Mission General John F Campbell.
According to the ISPR, General Campbell called on the COAS at GHQ in Rawalpindi.
Earlier on December 9, army chief in a meeting with Afghan president Ashraf Ghani in Islamabad assured him full support for peace and stability in the neighbouring country.

“We are committed to work together with Afghanistan on the basis of mutual interest and respect,” General Raheel had said, adding both the countries should pursue a strategic relationship that could enhance the security and mutual prosperity.
