MIANWALI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Sunday warned a local community to sell a large plot of land to the Namal College in Mianwali or else he would have it confiscated upon assuming power.

Speaking at the third convocation of the college in Mianwali, Imran urged members of the Sallu clan to sell around 8,000 kanals of land to the college, which is located adjacent to the existing Namalcampus.

“This (deal) will [help] change lives. If this college is not made, people here will be shepherding goats for the rest of their lives.”

He also accused members of the clan of blocking prosperity by delaying the deal.

Imran went on to add that if the land is sold now, the clan may get something. But he cautioned that if there is no deal, his government would confiscate the land.

The PTI chief went on to predict that his party will soon rise to power in the country.

He advised the young graduates to work towards making their dreams true instead of only focusing on landing jobs. He said that we should refrain from egoism.

PTI chief also lashed out at the incumbent government accusing them of corruption and pilfering money.

He announced that they will soon be building Namal Technical University.
