Are Monica and Chandler dating in real life?

Rumours were making rounds on social media that Friends couple Monica and Chandler are dating in real life. Much to our dismay, this news has turned out to be false.

The speculations began when Courteney Cox called off her engagement to Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny McDaid earlier this month. Since then she has been seen bonding with Friends co-star and reel life husband Matthew Perry.

Can we just say we're a wee bit disappointed?

According to Elle, it turns out that their friendship has been going strong and their bond remains unbroken since the popular sitcom ended. They even made guest appearances on each other's television shows post Friends.

But we're not the only hopefuls, fans are just as eager to see the two get together in real life. After all, what could be better than Mon and Chan getting married?
