Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) on Friday launched its bottled water in Faisalabad. WASA spokesman Zohaib Durrani said the price of a 19 litre bottle had been fixed at Rs50. He said it was available at WASA’s distribution centres. He said quality of water would be in accordance with the World Health Organisation (WHO) standards. He said a WASA water lab would issue daily reports on the quality of water supplied. He said WASA had established a main distribution centre at its head office. He said small distribution centres had been set up at Babar Chowk, People’s Colony, Karkhana Bazaar, Jinnah Colony and Ghulam Muhammadabad.
