Healthy Children: 7th NICH Symposium starts today
Sindh health minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar will inaugurate the symposium
KARACHI:
The two-day Seventh National Institute of Child Health (NICH) Symposium will commence from today (Saturday) in which more than 1,000 delegates will participate. At a press briefing on Friday, NICH director Prof Jamal Raza said that Sindh health minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar will inaugurate the symposium. Paediatricians and surgeons from Australia, United Kingdom, Turkey and China will attend the event, he claimed. The symposium aims to share the latest techniques, inventions and updates being adopted throughout the globe in the field of paediatrics, he explained. This is the first time that workshops and sessions have been held in collaboration with various hospitals, including Sindh Government Hospital, Saudabad, Sindh Government Qatar Hospital, Orangi Town, and Sindh Government Children Hospital, North Nazimabad, he said.
