Polio drive: DC bans pillion-riding
5.2 million children will be administered polio drops in K-P and 0.9 million in Fata and the Frontier Regions
PESHAWAR:
The Peshawar DC Riaz Mehsud issued orders to impose a ban on pillion riding for four days from December 17 to December 20, on account of the polio vaccination campaign across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. He also ordered that anyone violating these orders would be prosecuted under the Pakistan Penal Code. The polio campaign was launched in K-P on Thursday under which 5.2 million children will be administered polio drops in K-P and 0.9 million in Fata and the Frontier Regions.
