“Revolt is the only real startup factory in K-P,” the statement quoted Faisal Khan, co-founder of Peshawar 2.0, as saying. “It allows students, innovators, scientists, engineers and designers who wish to convert their ideas into real-life businesses will be trained.”
Faisal said the initiative welcomes people from all backgrounds, provided their business helps solve problems faced by a community.
“After almost three years of spadework, we have now begun the process of seeding the city with great startups – one batch at a time,” Faisal was quoted as saying.
The programme will help connect universities to the local markets and industries and help the students get exposure and gain knowledge about how to run a business.
“It’s a programme run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs,” the document quoted Bilal Ahmad, a partner at Revolt, as saying. “It’s going to be a hands-on experience for all.”
