At least 16 people were injured in a road accident in Mardan on Wednesday. According to a police official, a car and a passenger coach collided on Mardan-Swabi Road. “As a result, 16 passengers were injured,” he said. The injured have been identified as Islam Syed, Tilawat Shah, Syed Anwar, Karamat Shah, Saifullah, Noor Habib Shah, Muhammad Waheed, Saleem Taj, Tahir Shah, Syed Muhammad, Muhammad Waheed, Ghani Rehman, Karnal Shah, Ilyas, Mehtab and Bilal Shah. “The injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital in Mardan.” In a separate incident, a woman was electrocuted to death in Bari Cham.
