Speeding bus: Six people injured in accident

KARACHI: Around six people were injured on Wednesday when a mini-bus overturned on Jam Sadiq Bridge in Korangi. The bus driver could not control the vehicle as its brakes failed, said the Korangi Industrial Area police station SHO. “Around six people sustained minor injuries and were discharged from the hospital after preliminary aid,” he said, adding that no serious injuries were reported. The SHO was unable to confirm the route number of the vehicle and said that it was a Mazda bus. The driver also sustained injuries in the accident.
