Bogus Cheque: Man defrauded

RAWALPINDI: A man has been defrauded in the Cantonment police jurisdiction. Azam, a resident of Waqar Centre, lodged a complaint with the local police stating that Tasdeeq has defrauded him of over Rs1 million by giving him a cheque to pay for a plot of land. The cheque subsequently bounced. According to the complainant, Tasdeeq had been avoiding him after giving him the cheque. The police have registered a case, but no arrest had been made till the filing of this report.
