Your stars today

Shelley Von Strunckel December 17, 2015

Aries | March 20 – April 19

Ordinarily you don’t object to sudden alterations in your everyday circumstances or plans. Yet at the moment you’re reacting as if they were a challenge. They are, but one that’s positive. You’ll need to rethink habits that are so engrained you don’t even realise they can, and should, be changed.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

There are many ways to say ‘no’. Some are diplomatic, and speak of a lack of enthusiasm. But in one particular situation, your views are clear, these are, you’re not interested in proceeding, no matter what. Powerful as those feelings are, don’t refuse. Your plans could change, and within days.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

While you can’t live without making plans, on your own and those that involve others, there are times those plans need to be vague. Take this approach now and when changes in circumstances, some as exciting as they are unanticipated, force you to rethink things, you’ll do so easily.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

Past experience has taught you that arguing with somebody who’s already made a decision is pointless. But you feel you really should at least challenge their unwise choices. While you may not achieve much, at least you’ll have registered your concern. This is likely to get the individual in question thinking.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

Only last week sudden events forced you to substantially alter plans you’ve worked hard to organise. Now, you’re being asked to rethink things yet again. Annoying as this is, the individuals in question are struggling with their obligations. However, they value their time with you and are looking for a date that works.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

Because you dislike it when others are indecisive, when you’ve something to deal with, you try to gather all the necessary facts, then make a lasting plan. But, as you’re probably already aware, with the foundation on which things are based changing, even the simplest of arrangements must be regarded as tentative.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

It’s essential you be frank. You’ve been aware that one particular individual has been skirting the rules and regulations for ages. But monitoring their ethics really isn’t your problem. Or it wasn’t until they started referring to you as a friend or even associate. That’s why you must draw the line.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Now that you’ve had a chance to think about the events triggered by the New Moon, about a week ago, you may understand them better. At the time they seemed like yet more unsettling and unnecessary changes. Looking back, you realise these were breaking up an unprofitable pattern, one you were unaware of.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

Few things are more tedious than those who insist on sticking to the facts when they only complicate matters. You’d prefer to keep the
spirit of an idea or plan, then expand on it. While that capacity is one of your greatest gifts, for now, you’re urged to be less expansive.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

Last week the ideas planet Mercury moved into Capricorn and it’s joined by the Sun next Tuesday, the 22nd. While this marks a powerful cycle for you, it’s not without its challenges. In fact, with Mercury retrograde for much of January, you’ll be contending with confusion of many varieties.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

Every once in a while you’re forced to realise that not everybody cares about values such as kindness or being thoughtful. That’s exactly what you’re facing now. You may still harbour hopes the individual in question will realise the problems they’re causing. They do. And they’ve very much enjoying the feeling.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Issues involving certain arrangements are becoming more complex by the day, but others are avoiding discussing them. They seem to be afraid they’ll reveal how ill-informed they are. This requires the variety of tact that comes naturally to you, as a Pisces. Gently reassure them and soon, all will be well.
