LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge (ADSJ) on Saturday sought comments from the Kot Lakhpat station house officer (SHO) on a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against his former wife. Petitioner Ashfaq Ahmad told the court that after he divorced his wife, she started blackmailing him. “She has also threatened to kill me and implicate me in false cases,” he said. He said he had approached the police for redress but the SHO refused to register his complaint in the matter. He requested the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against her.
