Encouraging inquiry: ‘Govt working on education reforms’

Ahsan Iqbal applauded the PIF for introducing a culture of innovation in Pakistan

Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said thta that his ministry was working on a project to bring about substantial reforms in education curriculums to encourage “inquiry and creativity” in schools and universities. While speaking tt the first National Innovation Awards of Pakistan, organised by Pakistan Innovation Foundation (PIF), he applauded the PIF for introducing a culture of innovation in Pakistan, said a press release issued here on Saturday. Pakistan Innovation Foundation Chairman Saad Amanuallah said that the objective of PIF was to acknowledge innovators in Pakistan. Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) CEO Dato’ Norhalim B Yunus talked about the MTDC’s partnership with the PIF to create an international network comprising of Malaysia, Pakistan, Jordan, Egypt and UAE.
