After much delay: Salaries of daily wage teachers finally released

ISLAMABAD:

The Ministry of Finance has approved Rs 140 million against the salaries of daily wagers that was due since July this year. The Capital Administration and Development Division forwarded the summary last month and the approval was made on Thursday. The State Minister for CADD Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has ordered swift payment of salaries to all the staffers, stated a press release. The daily wage employees of Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) have been protesting outside National Press Club for the last 20 days due to non-payment of salaries.
