Comilla Victorians registered an emphatic 71-run win over Sylhet Super Stars to go top of the league table.

Victorians have 14 points from 10 matches and are ahead of Rangpur Riders on net run rate.

Asked to bat first, Victorians lost their first wicket in the second over as Liton Das was caught behind by wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahman off a Mohammad Shahid delivery. However, Pakistan’s Ahmed Shehzad (42) formed a 68-run partnership with opener Imrul Kayes (27) before Shehzad was caught leg before by Rubel Hossain, while Kayes was caught-and-bowled by Super Star’s skipper Shahid Afridi with the Victorians 86-3 in the 12th over.
