A meeting in this regard was held at the Punjab Tourism Complex, Lahore on Tuesday.
TDCP Managing Director Ahmar Malik said that the rally was an effort to promote tourism in Cholistan.
Operations General Manager Muhammad Tanveer Jabbar, Finance General Manager Qamaruz Zaman, Events Deputy General Manager Muhammad Tahir Niazi and TDCP Bahawalpur Regional Manager Shahid Mehmood were also present. Malik said a qualifying round would be held on February 20. “It will be a part of the three-day festivities for the Cholistan Jeep Rally. A Ranger’s squad will perform the camel formation show,” he said. He said that folk artists would perform at the Cultural Night Show.The meeting was informed that more than 100 vehicles were expected to participate in the rally. A total of 300,000 tourists are expected to participate in event.
