Two groups of Hindu pilgrims will arrive in Lahore on Thursday (today) for Shiri Katas Raj Dham celebrations and 307th birth anniversary of spiritual leader Sawami Shadharam Sahib. Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Siddiqul Farooq will receive the pilgrims at Wagha Border. The first group will stay for a day at Gurdwara Dera Sahib and leave for Katas Raj mandir in Chakwal, where they would celebrate Shri Katas Raj Dham ceremonies on December 12. The second group will visit various religious sites including Mirpur Mathelo, Sadhu Mela Mandir Sukkur, Pannu Aakal, Larkana, Shadani Mandir Ghotki and Dhehrki. A spokesman of the ETPB said security for the pilgrims had been arranged. “They will have a peaceful atmosphere,” he said.
